Achilles Tendonitis


Along with Achilles Tendonitis usually comes pain and/or stiffness in the lower back area of the leg or just above the back of the heel. This pain can range from a dull ache to a stabbing pain and usually is at its worse in the morning or after sitting for long periods of time



Excessive overpronation(rolling inward of the foot)

Hill training

Speed training

Lack of flexibility


Having the proper amount of support in a running shoe

Improve flexibility in the Achilles tendon and calf

​Factor in rest days/avoid overtraining and excessive hill/speed training
